The first round of the Stroud News and Journal Cup and Margaret Jennings Memorial Trophy will be in the week commencing 18th September 2017; if you are unable to field a team during this week bring the game forward otherwise you will sacrifice the Cup Fixture but it will still be necessary to fulfil the league fixture.
The league rules are now available to Download; teams are STRONGLY advised to read rule 36; regarding cancellations, as this rule was amended at the 2015-2016 Annual General Meeting in an effort to reduce the number of cancelled and games arranged at the last minute.
In order to reduce the number of cancelled games it is recomended that players plan ahead and if unavailable notify your captain or Secretary as soon as possible. If you are unable to field a team you can then look to bring your fixture forward or fulfil on a different day in the same week, avoiding a cancellation. For Teams who have players who watch Gloucester Rugby your league fixtures can be found by Clicking Here. If you have a game that clashes and you can't raise a team look to bring the game forward.
In order to Assist Teams there are a number of On Line Forms which can be used to Register Players (upto 5 players in one visit); Submit Result Cards; Postponed Games and Rearranged Game Dates, as well as Pairs and Singles Entries. Links to the relevant forms can be found in the Menu on the left hand side.
For Any Issues Concerning Your Section, League or Cup Fixtures please contact the relevant Result Secretary. For matters concerning the Website please contact the Webmaster. Contact Details can be found on the League Contacts Page.
For any Teams looking to Purchase Skittle Pins or Skittle Balls for the Season, or maybe you are looking to get your existing set of Skittle Balls skimmed, why not contact Skittle Pins and Balls or email . Subject to size and condition we also purchase old sets which teams no longer use. Please note Lignum Vitae is in extremely limited supply and it is not known when; or even if any more will become available.
If any teams have enough spare Result and Cancellation cards please return these to the league or when collecting your League information state that you don't require any for the forthcoming season. This will save the league and ultimately your team money. We thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
